  • International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE), supports Jazz education and presents an annual Conference that every serious Jazz lover should attend at least once in their life. 8000 to 10,000 musicians, students, educators and related people in one great gathering, with beautiful music all day long. Even if one is not a professional musician or educator it is still a fantastic festival of the music where one can hear not only well-known masters, but obscure musicians deseving of your attention and, of course, those who represent the future of this music.

  • Jazz Institute of Chicago is a jazz society and more, featuring an on-line magazine and a collection of oral histories.

  • Massachusetts Cultural Council gives economic and logistical support to the arts and humanities in Massachusetts.
  • Massachussetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) is the Mass. state chapter of MENC. It supports music education at all levels in the state and organizes performing opportunities for student musicians and professional development for educators.
  • Music Educators National Conference (MENC) is not only the professional organization of music educators at all levels, IAJE is one of its affiliates, but the largest arts organization, of any kind, in the world.
  • National Foundation for the Advancement of f the Arts is an advocacy organization that facilitates scholarships in the arts for 17 and 18 year-olds.
  • The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) arts support organization serving the New England States.
  • New Hampshire Humanities Council supports lectures, educational productions of all kinds pertaining to the humanities. It has lent support to the lecture series of the Seacoast Jazz Society as well as to documentary producer Ken Burns.
  • The New Jersey Jazz Society sponsors a Jazz in the Schools program, as well as numerous Garden State jazz events including the annual Jazzfest and the annual Pee Wee Russell Memorial Stomp.
